My name is Alina, I am a master of arts in pedagogy, but this is not my real passion. My passion are animals. As a child I had cats, fish, turtle, guinea pigs, hamsters, rat, iguana, I even bred frogs. My dog adventure started in 1989 when I was given a gift from my Mum show life went around him and he spent his life as a sofa pet. \In 1995 to a cute fattish ball \endash little CERTUSIA appeared in our house (click here to see Certa and her children) female puppy of Great Dane. She also wasn\rquote t presumed to be a show dog but she grew up to become a beautiful dog and encouraged by acquain tances I took her to a few shows and later for a breeding review. Definitely I put pressure on her education and together we made first-degree course of PT and IPO ending with really good results. Certa became perfect life companion and in 1997 a mother o f eight puppies from which a great number made show career. \par }\ In the middle of year 2000 a small Shih-tzu female SHIMMY appeared at our house. In short time she passed required shows, acquired the breeding qualifications and in 2002 she gave birth to six cute puppies. It was very cheerful time at our home, you could see the satisfied, waving tails everywhere. My sweet Certusia left us when she was 6 leaving many memories, one litter but also big void\'85 Currently my brother is taking care of Great Danes breeding. In middle of 2001 he became the owner of a beautiful, yellow female Madamme Maksima Axedius. \par Our love for four-footed friends still did not die out and in our breeding appeared next dogs. Nevertheless, as I believe that each dog needs individual contact with its owner, their closeness and sincere care, so with increasing number of dogs in ALIKANA also grew the numbert of breeders and homes where the dogs live. \par }\pard \This way currently the following dogs stay in our kennel:

SHIH-TZU Shimmy and her daughter Morganka
BOSTON TERRIERY Olivia, her daughter Tashka, Rocket and his daughter Ali
STAFFORDSHIRE BULL TERRIER Pepsi i Semi

All our doggies meet each other from time to time and live in harmony, some of them in great friendship. We are considerably active in shows organized by kennel club and all successes achieved there prove that our dogs are beautiful and highly compliant with breed models. Of co urse, all success of our little charges give us much joy and satisfaction, but this is not most important for us. Most important for us is the well-being, happiness and health of our doggies. That is why we do not blindly follow newest trends, standards, w e understand that not all dogs have their chance to win the highest awards and referee recognition. Also part of them just do not like shows and we try to limit their presence to a required minimum. The animal is not a thing and any deviation from agreed m odel does not make it worse, less loved and cannot change our relationship with animal. All our dogs live to their old age at our homes in an atmosphere filled with warmth and love under constant veterinary care. We make our best to examine our dogs again st most popular diseases of their breed so that we are sure they are healthy and they don\rquote t hand over any hereditary diseases to their youth. \par Puppies grow up in constant contact with us and our dogs, which makes them joyful and self-confident when they move to a new home. In every litter we encounter youth more or less compliant with breed model \endash that is why we make some preliminary selection for puppies with show & breed future and those so called sofa sitters . This has a great price impact. At the beginning all puppies are titled \sofa sitters as we consider them as equal. Sofa sitters deserve the same care and love. Cost of their breeding is identical, they have the same parents, pedigree and chance to become smart, faithful life companions and friends for many years. Their selection to sofa sitters is decided mostly by real details like ears or tail setting, eyes color or shape, leg angle etc., thus - all things having no impact on quality of their life. And this is only our preliminary assessment as from a promising puppy an unsuccessful dog can grow up and from an \'93ugly duckling\rdblquote - a real show lion may grow up. Nobody can guarantee a show success selling a 8-12 week-old puppy. Show estimation is not only d ependent on genetic information but also on breeding and nutrition conditions of a puppy, which sports it liked and at what age it went for them, whether it like shows or whether it is an unpleasant duty for it, and finally \endash all depends on referee \rquote s taste, where breeder has no influence. Nevertheless, we believe that all our puppies have fundamental features to become exemplary representatives of their breed, inheriting not only appearance but also a great character. \par }\pard\plain For our puppies we seek wonderful homes, caring and loving caregivers, people for whom the dog would always be a great friend and family member. We never sell our puppies to dog dealers, backyard or pen breeding. Our youngsters go to new homes equipped with pedigree certificate, valid health book with valid vaccinations, de-infested, provided with a Royal Canin set. We try to keep contact with new owners and always offer further help and advice. \par \par We invite everyone seeking a real dog friend!
